There has been NOTHING public that I know of about "modules" from either Spektrum OR JR for their module-TX based radios, and that Extremewhateveritis vapor ware doesn't count, to me.

IF a module-based system comes out, that would obviously be "the" way to go, no doubt about it. But, as with so many things, in the absence of concrete data, one is forced to speculation and rumor.... such is the RC'er's life, I suppose.
