I haven't figured out what the puller is for and I'm not inclined to start chewing up the beautifully machined aluminum parts. My guess is that it might be for pulling the thrust washer off the front of the Webra engine this particular unit was machined for. the only marking on the outside of the box was WEB written with a felt tip marker. Here are more detailed pics of the machine parts inside the cone.
