the holes in the crank case are for air flow, but the holes in the body are more for looks imo. they help channel air to the ps area, but not much. i usually run body off anyways. keeping that cool air flowing is important, it is why i suggest useing a GOOD BREATHable material, your not trying to stop all flow, but rather want to stop the crap but let the air thru. the material i used is actually a subproduct of a roofing material for residential housing.
