Default RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies

Having been involved in using, testing and developing systems software since 1969 on numerous platforms, I can assure you that faults in design or just plain erroneous coding are a common place theme for all but the most simple of products.

Some of these issues you are hearing about are only being experienced by a handful of people as a result of the possibly millions of combinations of hardware/software conditions that could never be fully anticipated or tested against. The implementation of the operating environment has been the biggest contributor to this dilemma (and one of the reasons for its own growth as well).

Like it or not, eventually it is the real world variances that prove to be the best testing condition. The real measure is how the supplier deals with that reality to satisfy its customer base. Frankly, I think it is still too early to form a solid opinion yet, but to some degree it is looking good.

Next time you buy a Cad-Cam system for several thousand dollars and have to wait an intolerable amount of time to resolve issues, you will will think of FS One as being clean.
