Default RE: Muggy break-in

Do I need a new piston and sleeve already? I haven't even driven it. I put half a gallon of fuel through it with it around 100 degrees. I really don't know how to do this, I thought you couldn't damage it by running it with the temperature too low. Is there anything I can do to fix it. It took me forever to save enough money to buy it and it might take me a few months to save enough for a new piston and sleeve. Plus I don't know how to fix anything in the car. If I tried to take apart the engine I would probably never get it back together again. I don't know anything about how to maintain it. I have been putting after-run oil in it and cleaning the air filter every time I attempt to run it. I don't know bout any maintenance that I should be doing other than that. This is starting to get really depressing. Maybe I shouldn't have bought an RC car, my family hates it because of the noise.
