RE: Need Help Getting Started
ESC= Electronic Speed Controller..
it Regulates the Voltage going to the Motor based on the Throttle Triggers postion..
An most ESC's will have what they call a Turn limit, this is How Powerful a Motor they can Run..
The TEU 101BK ESC that comes with most TT-01 Kits will run motors down to 23 Turn (T)
So this means it will Run Motors from 27T to 23T IT will not handle a 19T motor..
The More Winds or Turns a Motor Has, the More torque but Less High Speed the Motor will have
So a 10x2T motor will spin faster then a 27T motor but will have less Torque or Acceleration..
So Less Turns means more Speed and High RPM (EG 9T)
More Turns Means more Torque (27T)
For drift a motor between 27T and 19x2T is recommended..
A Double Wind Motor (x2) has the Same RPM charactoristics a single Turn but a wider Torque Range so it revs smoother...
