Default RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies

ORIGINAL: Harley Licht

I am using a Futaba 6XA and/or a G2/G3 controller for all of my simulator use since the FS ONE Mode 1 controllers are not yet shipping.
...... and I fly Mode 1.

...

Thank you,
Harley
I removed some stuff from your post above. I think what's below will help w/ your Futaba radio.

I just posted this stuff below in another RCU Futaba question thread, so sorry for the dup. The FAQs below cover 4-channel and 8/9-channel Futaba radios. In your case w/ 6-channels the basic approach given in the FAQs will apply. Pick a baseline 6-channel emulator setup for your radio and go through the instructions given. Let me know if you have more questions.

There's now a new FAQ to cover how to setup FS One with the Futaba T9CAP computer radio. The instructions are long because I tried to spell out in detail each step. I went through these steps to test it - all OK. The general approach outlined can be used with practically ANY Futaba transmitter. There's a similar FAQ for a 4 channel Futaba (listed below as well).

Some people might look at this and think it's long, but let's all remember how long the manuals are for JR and Futaba 8+ channel computer radios ... they're not so short. So setting up an FS One MiG-15 jet w/ throttle, rudder, elevator, ailerons, flaps, airbrakes, flight modes ... is, well, not so short. But I think once the basic concepts are in hand, it gets a lot easier.

It's about a 5 min operation once things on the real Transmitter side are setup the way you want them to be, i.e. what functions are on what switches and knobs in the case of the T9CAP. For the 4 channel Futaba, things are easier ... but the discussion is still pretty long to help the beginners w/ 4 channel radios.

How can I use my Futaba T9CAP 9-channel transmitter with FS One (9-Ch Fut)? (Q1028-FS1, 10/23/06)

How can I use my Futaba T4VF 4-channel transmitter with FS One (4-Ch Fut)? (Q1027-FS1, 10/22/06)
