My pleasure.
Yes you are correct about the Heng Long M26 Pershing being known otherwise as the "Snow Leopard". That is what the actual box says on it and is not just what a hobby distributor decided to call it. I believe that name was derived so that there wouldn't be any confusion with the Tamiya Pershing. Be certain that the tank you are looking to buy is 1/16 scale as there is a 1/30 scale one also made by Heng Long that is very similar looking. It is powered by a 4.8V battery pack and has a push-button controller.
A lot if not all the sites do not name the manufacturer as Heng Long. I'm not sure why this is. [sm=72_72.gif]
The HL Pershing tank should always come with the following items (included in the pic): a two-stick transmitter named "Sender", an often yellow 7.2V battery pack, a wall charger, a tank commander, a bottle of smoke oil and a package of cheap 6mm BB's.
Why did you settle on the Pershing instead of the
evil Tiger I?

Harq,
Thanks for all of your feedback. I have decided to purchase a 1/16th Heng Long S&S Pershing instead of the Tiger 1. I went on the sites you suggested and noticed that the Pershing is also known as a "Snow Tiger"? Also some of the sites don't provide the manufacturer, but it looks like the HL. Can you assist.
Thanks[sm=75_75.gif]
