Hey Stuart,
Do you remember Willie Macek and his pair of YS .60FR powered Hobby Barn Magics? His were up around 10lbs; so not exactly lightweights!! Willie flew them very well and was always tough to beat, but he was such a nice guy you never felt too bad. Unfortunately, when 'turnaround' pattern arrived Willie (as well as many other top pilots in the northeast) 'retired'.
