OK, I seperated the 4in1 from the receiver. Plugged all of the CCPM servos into the correct three slots. I am trying to use an Align RCE-500x HH gyro, but am a bit confused as to where to plug in what. From what I read somewhere else, nothing needs to be plugged into the gyros servo connection? Additionally, when I connect the throttle from the 4in1 to the GX6 receiver and test, the servos work correctly for the CCPM, but nothing else and the light on the 4in1 is red . . .

My understanding after reading some other posts is as follows (and I'm only speaking of throttle/rudder connections here):
Channel 3 from 4in1 goes to Channel 1 on Spektrum (throttle)
Channel 4 not used if using a seperate gyro?
I don't know how that would work as the signal has to be pushed to the 4in1 ESC to tell the tail rotor the speed, but I don't want to just start plugging things in and fry something.

I don't remember where I got this post, but I printed it and here is the quote:
"Now this setup only provides rate gyro. If you decide to go the extra step and use a heading hold gyro, the signal lead of the gyro will pluginto the rudder channel of your receiver (channel 4 on the DX6)." This is where I'm confused. "The channel 4 lead of the hacked 3 in 1 unit will not connect to the gyros servo lead. Turning the proportional and gain controls full counter-clockwise will disable their functions."

So if you guys have any insight I'd love to hear it. Just trying to use the 4in1 ESCs without the gyro!
