Can anyone out there please give me advice on powering my Platt Spit 1/5? I was planning on putting a G-45 in it but I really didn't like how much of the cowl I had to cut up so I was going to put a G-38 in it instead b/c of the rear exhaust but i'm worried it will be underpowered. Any suggestions? I would consider a new engine altogether as well. thanks!!! BTW, there are beautiful Spits on this thread that you guys have built....Good Jobs!!!!
