Hi all

I need your help. In 2 weeks time I want to buy an off-road car/truck from Tower. The problem is I don't have any experience with cars, only about 3 years experience with glow/electric planes, so this is all new to me. I would appreciate it if you guys can help me put together a nice package of all that I would need with the Tower stock numbers.

I've been reading a lot the last few weeks, but I just don't know what to get. The 3 trucks I've got a liking in are:
RC10T4
TXT-1
Savage 4.6 X SS

I would prefer electric (but from what I've read the performance is a bit low), as that gives me more options on where I can ride with the truck, but if there is no other way I would go nitro. Where I stay, I will almost always ride on dirt/grass/rocks, so the truck must have good ground clearance as well as not break every other day because I have to import replacement parts. Almost forgot to add, it must be in kit form as I like to build stuff.

My budget is $800 (excluding stuff like batteries, paint etc. (dangerous/flammable goods) which I can't ship with UPS from Tower to South Africa.)

If someone here is willing to help me and I choose the package he put together, I will buy him/her a $35 gift certificate from Tower.
