Though Helis have a whole new level of associated costs....

Until you have a lot of heli experience and a stock of parts, each little tip over and crash ends up costing you a good fraction of a new heli.

IMHO the bigger nitro helis and a sim are better for starting out.

They are not as unstable, and easier to deal with using the training gear.

A good sim (a cheapy will not do for this) pays for itself in heli parts very quickly.

Dunno about their other helis, but some of their other no name stuff has been pretty good thus far.
