Once again thanks to Dick and all the helpers for another great day, when's the next one??????????

On the subject of Jet meets, I try and get to as many as possible as our club flying site is currently unsuitable for the larger jets (boomerangs are no problem). There seem to be just a few meets between March and the end of May (taking this year as an example), I realise that the chances of bad weather are probably greater in the early part of year. On the flip side you have to strike a balance if there are too many events people will just get fed up and stop coming.

Personally I would like to see more events in the centre of the country or towards the western side, so an extra event at Saints would suit me fine. I know there are jet meets on the eastern side of the country but I have to draw the line somewhere with the travelling, Coningsby for example is some 320+miles one way ( £90 in Petrol for the return trip) from me so to fly for the weekend I have to have the friday and monday off work.

We have some lovely airfields down this part of the world, we have asked several times about flying on them but just get fobbed off with petty excuses.

Mark, Hurry up and get an event sorted at Welshpool, that's a local one for me!!!!!!!!!!!!
