I know mine has a good bid of wobble but it does not bind. Try setting the mess at the tight point. I keep saying I am going to check the wobble but I am running a TZ and if that does not tear it up then I figure it is OK and so far no problem.

As for the diff springs I do not see any real advantage if all you do is bash but if you race I highly recommend them.
