RE: Aviation Models/TOC 30% Extra 260 BUILD THREAD
I used EVERYTHING out of the kit, EXCEPT the control stuff. I used the Dubro HD #866, (I think) with the 1/8" alum pin for the nylon fork clevis. They come with good 8-32 bolts to mount in hard points already installed. Then the Associated ProLinks for elevators, and just a short 4-40 all thread (stainless) for the ailerons. Rudder tiller arm is the Dubro HD setup, too, it has angled cup washers to get things right. Dubro 4-40 ball links on all servo ends, Airwild MLP servo arms, 1.25" for ailerons, 1.5" for elevators.
The tank is stock, landing gear and hatch hardware stock, cowl mounting stuff - it's all good quality stuff, SAE threads.
I used the Sullivan HD tailwheel because I like the coiled spring on the wire.... lets me drop the tail without breaking stuff... have that on my GP Ultimate, and really like how it has held up.
(The supplied ball links and clevises and control arm screws MAY be just dandy - I just have a bias there toward the Dubro stuff)
