33% 260
I got 5 flights on my new 33% 260 yesterday, couldnt have asked for a nicer day of 75 degrees and 0-5mph winds. First flight went fine, motor was way too rich so landed to retune. After I dragged the plane back to the pit area, I set down the tail and crack! The pete model carbon tail wheel just snapped and was toast, so figured I was done for the day and had some "nice" words coming out of my mouth. A friend showed up and he happened to have an extra graphtech tailwheel at the house so we went and swapped it out. So, I ended up getting 4 more flights on it, and was starting to get it trimmed out. I did notice in knife edge it doesnt pull to the belly at all, but does have a ton of proverse roll going on, so I need to mix that out. Also took 2% down elevator to throttle mix as well. All in all great flying little plane so far. Here is my setup
Hitec 5955s on aileron, elevator. 1 Hitec 5955 on pull/pull (in the bottom of fuse right in front of tailwheel assembly). Hitec 6965 on throttle. Single Fromeco 4800 peerless rx pack through Fromeco Badger swtich and Fromeco Regulator. Fromeco 2400 and smart fly ignition regulator up front. BME 115 on stock mufflers, Pete Model 4" Spinner with Mejzlik 25x12 3 blade. Graphtech main gear. Weighed it today 22lbs 6.5oz with stock wingtube, I have a CF tube that is going in it so that should get me down to 22lbs. The BME pulls the snot out of this plane, and the 3 blade is a great match. Balanced right at 4.25" at the wingtips, and is just about right for me for a mix of precision and 3D. Here is a pic, will get some more pics later.
