The rustler would be a great car for you, unfortunately it comes as a ready to run. If your budget is higher I highly reccomend looking into a Tamiya, Losi, or Associated kit. You will have a blast with those building them. You would get to build and learn how everything works with a kit. The Tamiya Dark Impact, Associated Factory Team T4, and Losi MF2 are great kits. If your going to stay on-road, definately look into a Tamiya TT-01. They are cheap, and come in kit form so you can learn and build it. Tons of hop ups are available. If your staying on-road it would be great.
