im not too keen on lipos, if you overuse them they blow up, if you over charge them they blow up, if you drop them they blow up its like using a can of nitroclycerine

and dont forget, these things are in some laptops! :O

But anyway, they automatically shut off when the lipo is charged, and your ESC (assuming it is made for lipos) will automatically shut off or send a warnning when your lipo is safely depleted, at that time cut the juice and get back down to terra firma
