Some wooden props should work, put one on and go fly, it won't hurt anything and it either will be better or worse. I can tell if I have the right prop in the first 4 feet of the take off roll. I know what acceleration the proper prop gives, it is very easy to tell. You can always tie a small scale to the tail and see how much pull each prop has but this won't tell you how the prop unloads in the air. Norm
