How fast can you fly?
true, the aim these days is not to see the other plane before you kill it, let alone get close enough to have to dogfight. then again, during Korea the forces did learn to put guns back on planes like the F-4, i believe, because dogfights did happen when they thought that era was over with their new missiles.
The Eurofighter is almost as old as me, i think the original brief started back in 1979 and what is recognizable as a Eurofighter drawn up by the mid 80's, during the 90's some effort was made to make it stealth but not by design like the F-117 or B2, rather hoping paint would do the job.
