Tim,
i'm still not 100% sure on the bridging of all the channel pads. at one point, folks said it was worth trying, and then at another point, folks said dont do it. i dont know what would happen if one were to try it, if anything at all, but i'm down to just a couple RXs left, so i'm too paranoid to try it myself
as for the penny on the nose of the Jet, i've done that with mine and it works well, but i also have removed weight from the tail end so i'm not sure on that either (lot of help i am today!). it wouldnt be hard to try it out though, there isnt much room for shifting the CG, as the lipo is tucked into the nose and the RX is up front too. removing weight from the tail seems to be the best way to go. as for helping the turns, one thing i've thought about trying is to remove the foam thats directly behind the props. i can only imagine the amount of lost thrust that the foam produces from being right in the prop wash.
