Default RE: kadet senior

those are some nice looking planes! it makes me want to buy one to bash it a little bit.
Ive actually owned 3 kadets: kadet seniorita, Lt-25 and kadet senior
i liked flying the lt-25 (with more throws, is quite aerobatic for what it is) but the one with the most potential was the senior. my seniorita was ok (built it with stock wing) but was only good for relaxing putting around the sky doing touch and goes (which is ok) but tended to get boring. its amazing what a roll here and there can do to the excitement factor.
ive still got the seniorita plans, which one day i will "blow them up" so i can scratch build one big enough for a ryobi 31cc and add a few mods such as rounded tail (kinda like a cub), cowl, semisymetrical wing (still thinking about that one) flaps, wheel pants and a nice on board video system.
this is something that will definately take me some time, but is fairly high up on my "future projects" list. (which is getting WAY too long).....need to start working on some of these before i get any other "good" ideas

Oh yeah! i almost forgot. this is just a personal preference, but I think that the senior has to be made into a taildragger. it looks so natural that way, plus it actually handles quite nicely with this configuration, and its not as bouncy as trike gear (i use the dubro fiberglass maingear)
