Default RE: formosa or formosa 2 for pattern?

Either one is not that good for practicing pattern. In fact, you may end up learning bad habits. I've owned the formosa, thinking that it would be a good practice plane but in reality, you will get blown around by the wind. Also, it needs a bunch of mixing to keep it in semi knife edge. To get it to knife edge, you will also need a lot of power and the rudder doesn't seem to have enough authority. Either case, take the formosa for what it is. It's a good flying foamy that a lot of people like, I liked mine. But, it will never be a practice plane for pattern.
