Though I currently own 8 JetCats, I do not think I will buy another any time soon again .. they are no longer tops in terms of performance. There are alternatives currently available which have more power, and better spool times in equivalent classes, and don't have as many issues as many JetCat engines are having these days. Look at some of the big jet events ( like Superman in particular ) and see which engines truly run reliably, and which ones are flaming out on people, or don't run right. I have been seeing too many people recently having problems with brand new engines, and even being made to pay for repairs on these new engines for these still not to work ... I have been fortunate and have personally not had any major issues with my engines, but I was not particularly thrilled on not being able to fly either my p200 or p180 until antistatic lines and additives were available ( this is what I was instructed ) .. and still don't have the warm fuzzys about the whole static issue JetCat ECUs are susceptible to …
