Default RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Hi, I'm back, OK my observations were that the jet was incredibly tail heavy, and essentially a flying wing. Initially I pulled the twin tails and put one of them in the center of the plane. I do not have a pic of that, but if someone wants one I can make that happen. It would be a pic of a free flight though. I then measured the stabs, and cut a piece of 1mm depron plate to match, cut a slit in the airframe and flew it. The larger single rudder helped immesely(SP?). But the plane continued to act like a flying wing. I then cut the connective foam between the wings and the stabilizers. The climb ratio was cut some and the turn ratio was a little better. The entire time I'm doing this flight observation the plane is visibly tail heavy, and can't seem to get the nose even down to 10 degrees up altitude. My latest mod, which I may not be able to fly until saturday, is pictured. I can't wait to see if the plane flies. Tim

Feel free to tell me I'm nutters. Tim
