Default RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Neuro, I think the difference between the mass production models is that some have more body bend. the one I have to try and hunt down was straight, it flew well but had the tail heavy I won't turn. A couple of other ones I have purchased were bowed up. That produced a natural inclination to swoop.

Neuro, Micro, Ayrton, Mcneil, and any other modellers I've missed, With no weight in the tail the jet, as pictured above, is way to nose heavy. I'm down to 1.7g in the tail but my flight is still odd,(at 2.5g it hovered about at a 45 degree angle. kinda cool but not my goal), I' wondering about putting down pitch on the stabs like an F-4 the wings pitch high. Any thoughts?

My instinct is to cut a third of the main wing off, and give it a more horizontal wing.
