JEB.....a .52 4 stroke is perfect. I have a magnum .52 on mine. I flattened the wings and added Barn door ailerons. I fly this senior on floats also....not the light plastic ones but built up foam/balsa/glass ones. That big wing still floats like a feather even with them hanging under the plane. Without the floats I can hang the plane on the prop for quite a while...my skills usually give out before the engine. This plane engine combo is in my opinion perfect and a blast to have fun with for both the seasoned vet goofing off or for a newbie to get their feet wet and usually have quick success.....it FLOATS SO NICE....lol.
