Default RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36

ORIGINAL: Jackedman

hey guys whats a good setting to start off with as to the plt and the pit anything would help as i just got it and the book doesn't really tell you anything

jack, in reality, I'll say it because someone will eventually anyway:

be really careful with these Walkera electronics: the Tx, the RX, and the servos are all suspect, and prone to glitching and/or worse failures

the Walkera heli's are solid & well-flying, but I and others have had catastophic electrics failures (never can find out where) leading to expensive crashes

so, heads-up

as to your question: there's a lot of info about PLT & PIT on this thread; you may want to enter each term into the "search this thread" box for more info

basically I think you keep both about 11 o'clock; but this depends on your particular setup (stock, brushless, etc)

cheers
