Default RE: 7CAP elevator channel problem

As a last check I would recommend going into a blank model and see if you still experience this problem. If you do, then you would need to send this radio back to the service center so that our technicians can check this out for you. If you do not notice this behaviour in a blank model, then do a reset in the original model as there is some type of mixing going on that is causing the problem.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Hi,

Thanks for this, but no, this does not help. The problem is that the when the elevator stick is at center, the trim is at center, the end points are at 100%, the subtrim is at neutral, and all the mixes are off, the elevator servo, even when disconnected from the airplane surfaces, moves almost all the way to one end of its travel. When you unplug the servo and plug it into channel 1 or channel 4 under the same conditions, the servo moves to the center of its travel. When hooked up to channel 2 and you move the stick down, the is almost no additional travel, when you move the stick up, there is normal travel (reverse channel 2 and observe the opposite result).

I have tried this with different receivers and different servos, and observe the same result. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
