Default RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Neurotex,
the twin boom is looking pretty sharp, almost DeHavilland-esque. nice work on the canopy forming, what do you use to heat the plastic up with? this is something i've been meaning to get to as well. i finally figured out what plane i was going to build for the christmas competition, (Grumman XF5F-1 SkyRocket) and its got a decent size canopy on it which i'll have to work out. a lot of folks use clear heat shrink wrap for their canopies, it shrinks a lot, but seems to work really well. on the other hand, yours came out looking just as nice. only differance is probably weight. as for glueing it, would it be possible to glue it from the underside/inside of the fusealge? might keep the glue from spreading to where you dont want it.
