I thought that I was the only person that liked the AMA, and I am glad to see this post. They have done so much for me over my lifetime, I can't thank them enough. I have been an AMA member since 1941 - that's 65 years and still counting. Sure they have some faults (show me an organization that doesn't), but the good things they do, and have done, outweigh any faults. Over the years I have participated in free-flight, U-control, R/C single channel at it's inception, R/C reeds (Citizenship), R/C analog (Orbit 3+1), R/C digital (Orbit 7-14 & Pro-Line), R/C pattern flying, R/C pylon racing, R/C sport flying, and now since 1976 heavily involved in R/C giant scale. All that was made possible because of the AMA. What more can I say?
