If you have one of the original 9ZAP or 9ZHP transmitters, it can be converted to a 9ZAW or 9ZHW. These latter transmitters are also known as "WC1" versions. The cost is about $400.00, and involved replacement of the entire mainboard of the transmitter. We still have a limited number of these boards available, but once they're gone, we'd not be able to make any upgrades.

Per Futaba, there is no conversion available to make a "WC1" version to a "WC2". There are too many changes make it economical.

Some of the "do-it-yourself" changes only give you the look of the WC2 ve rsion, but do not include any of the software changes.
