I would probable see them in a better light if they would help get us a damn field and at least attempt to control the local interferance at our current makeshift site.
In every Model Aviation issue there is a column entitled "Flying Site Assistance" There are Eastern (Joe Bashar) and Western Wes La Cou) heads of this department. These people are there to lend assistance in any way they can. Some of our AMA districts also have AVPs who are there to help the local clubs acquire and keep flying sites. If your talking about the AMA financially helping a local club acquire a flying site, I would be totally against this as I feel this would be a misappropriation of funds.
