Epoxy + Paint = What?
Just wondering. I'm painting a fairly thin (3/32") balsa (Cockpit FW190). I hear mixing in a little epoxy with you're paint helps with fuel proofing. Any ideas on this? I have 20-minute epoxy. Do I just want to do the liquid (not the hardener) then thin it out - then add the paint? Whats the technique that you guys do for this type of fuel proofing.
Also, if I want to fuel proof the engine area, should I Do this same technique (of course without paint).
THanks.
