Dave
I have just been advised by my UK dealer that my Scorpion will be shipped tomorrow, should have it in a few days (Ihope!)
The model looks good in the photographs. While the AD website description says "No glueing" the first thing you have to do is glue reinforcing plywood into the fuselage at the joint so I think we should take the "No glueing" with a pinch of salt or maybe a pinch of glue!
You may have to mount one of your elevator servos as per the shot in the manual depending on your radio and channel availability remember you have two ailerons, two flaps, two rudders and two elevators for a start, that means "Y" leading and/or servo reversing unless you are lucky enough to have a brand spanking new 14MZ like me, in which case you will have channels to spare.
I will be using Hitec 5225 digitals on the ailerons and 645 MG on the flaps with 5625 Digis on elevator duty, 5125 on rudder.
I will have to wait until I open the box to see if a pipe is included in the European kit, I don't think so, a bit dissappointing as the kit is the equivalent of $1,600 over here and you guys get it for around $1,350. I will use my spare Eurosport pipe cut down to size and a plastic bottle 2 litre tank.
You will get the unvarnished truth on the model when it arrives!
