The SBV2 is very very durable. What exaclty are you looking to do with it. You have to remember that this is a buggy not a large truck. The plastic components do have some give to them so that they are less lightly to break. You can get a ton more information if you click this link.

(BEAT IT) Some of these guys would hand the controller over to the racetrack owner and let him drive it as well, you'll see that very very few people break these cars. Hope this helps.
