Honestly you wont see many bright rusty tracks in reality. The best way to get a convincing look on the track is to actually run it and get it dirty. The only time i have seen tracks rust bright orange is if they were clean and had been sitting around for a while. If the track is in regular use it will be a dirty earth color overall with dark grey/black where the rubber pads have worn AND a dark gunmetal steel on all the metal contact areas.
