Default RE: gas engine newbie need help

Dont make this complicated guys...First the choke isnt nessecary at all...Put your finger over the velocity stack(black piece where the carb takes in air)Give a few small pulls(i see you have black line, replace with yellow line so you can see the gas) you would see the lines fill with fuel..Move finger and a few pulls later she should fire right off.....I never use the choke....As for dieing as said before need to adjust the high speed needle...Sounds like she's leaning out when she gets some heat in her..Also you need to check all hoses for holes or airleaks...Use straps to secure lines for leakprof seal..Also sometimes during shipping the puck falls off into the gas tank and will cause same problem..Been there done that a few times.....Do yourself a favor and give the boat a good once over before the next outting.....I personnaly take my used boats i buy completely apart before they go out for there first run....Lets me get to "know" my boat and reassures me i have checked all nuts and bolts...[8D]
