You said you bought this boat off e-bay. Do you know if this boat sat for a long time before you bought it? If so, the carb may need to be cleaned. Gasoiline tends to turn to varnish as it sits for a long time. What kind of oil are you using and at what mix?
I think he bought it new though. Unless they test them and dont clean the tank out. You are right gum up you could easily plug a jet and burn the motor down. Ive seen many snowmobiles that wern't winterized properly leanout. Costly mistake Dave
