RE: gas engine newbie need help
i totally agree on that one never buy ready mixed fuel you dont know the ratio for definate to which its mixed.go out buy some gas and some decent 2 stroke oil and mix your own.also some great advice on fuel lines ,carb etc.i also agree with one guy check your fuel lines are correct as in the one going to the carb is from the bottom of the tank(fuel line) top on should be air pressure .2 strokes are normally pretty easy to start so there is something not right here.i doubt its the engine more likely the settings or as said check the fuel lines.also make sure the ignition is on if it has a kill switch check its working.ive seen this happeen before whjere a guys kill switch was kicking in and cutting the engine.sometimes caused by weak batterys.(charge em up!!)
