I flew my 40 sized (the 1st plane I ever bought mind you) plank in the back yard here in OH. If it wasn't for the rough yard, I'd still have it. Just too bumpy... Plane would bounce then tip stall. Managed to get it flying several times before its demise though. I ended up finding out that there's a AMA club only 2.5 miles south of me, so I fly there now. Still haven't flown the heli there yet though. Maybe this weekend if I'm lucky.

I've 4.5 acres, and the neighbor has 10, so there's pleanty of room. I have to tree dodge every once in a while though. For helis, it's great. I might have to get something like a GP Yard Stick for slow flying in the backyard. I did have one of those before, and used to fly it in parks / ballfields in Salt Lake, UT. Had a mini funtana, but it was way too fraile for the backyard.

In Doors for planes is not my speed. With 5 kids, the indoor plane thing just wouldn't work out. Too fraile, and way too expensive. The first time it landed on the floor away from me, is about the time my 2 year old would get it out from under me, that that would be the end of ~$400.
