One thing that I had to improve upon were the spar glue joints. The wing spars are butt-joined together in the center of the wing, and the instructions say to simply epoxy them. I plan on putting this bird through its paces in the air, so I reinforced the spars with medium-weave fiberglass tape, wrapped around the spar joints and glued securely. Very strong!

Thin CA was used here, soaked thoroughly into the tape. [&:]
