Default RE: FSOne and Saitek X45? A little help, please

The Saitek might match the MS SideWinder or Logitech mapping. I suggest
that you try both of these to see if it works. The steps:

[1] Plug in the joystick, and have the TacCon plugged in at the same
time.

[2] Start FS One.

[3] Go to Options and in the first menu item, turn off autoload
controller. Now it will not automatically pick the TacCon Tx setup
each time you pick a plane. You will have to pick the Tx manually
according to which plane you want to fly and which controller you're
using.

[4] Pick a plane.

[5] Then click on "Select Interface" on the fly page next to the Tx.
Pick the Saitek controller that you want to use. Now it will stay
this way until you pick a different controller, e.g. if you want to
go back to the Hangar9 TacCon, you have to go back and pick that
one.

[6] Click on the Tx and then go to the category w/ the MS SideWinder
Tx's. Pick the one for your plane and try it. You can click on the
Flight Manual for the plane to see how the controls are setup for
the MS SideWinder joystick.

[7] If all works correctly, then the axis mapping for the Saitek matches
the MS SideWinder. Good.

[8] If things are not right, then try the Logitech joystick.

[9] If neither of these work, let me know and I can outline how to
change the axis assignments. The jest of things will be similar
to the Futaba 4-channel outline here:

Glad you're having fun w/ it! Sounds like you have a nice setup - new
graphics cards and all!
