Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

ORIGINAL: 46u

Mine is a cross bread has all sorts of parts on it. I have the X bulkheads so when I go to different tracks makes changing fluid easier if need be. Yes my brace all so has some play in it. I all so will tell you that the upper arm pins on the X are known to come out around the poor stops on the bumpers. You can either use a zip tie to hold the bumper mounts together or do what I did. I do not like the way the zip ties look so I took a couple lower pins and cut them to length and use the old bumper mounts.
Thanks for that. I also rung HPI Racing support and they said a bit of play was perfectly normal! I was just worried there was a mistake in the instructions and I had missed something out!

Also, great idea about the upper arm shafts. I'll buy some bottom shafts and do that!

Man, the XSS looks awesome. Can't wait to have it up and running - the MT2's big brother! Just need a 1/5 Baja 5B to complete the family!
