RE: Sea Bee Setup Help
Hi fadi81, sorry for the delay but I put my fingers into a turning prop and had to lay off for a while .... ouch!
Anyhow, I've finally put in a few flights on the Sea Bee and will happily say that its one SWEET flier! Mine came used through 3 owners the first two of which overpowered the plane, ran heavy stock hardware and came away disappointed. The last owner lightened up the plane a lot and unleashed its true potential.
I've got an old YS-63 on mine - its slightly overpowered, but even then, the plane flies really well. I'm only just a newbie, but the plane seems to track like its on rails! Rolls are axial and handling is crisp, precise and a real joy. The plane also floats like a trainer to boot - my first 2 flights with the YS (my first) ended in deadstick landings that seemed almost deliberately perfect!
Haven't had much time on it, but so far, its all really good!
