Batteries are in the fuselage for both CG and accessibility for charging. Cooling is also simplified. With the canopy section off, the area is wide open for batteries, nose gear, ESC's, retract filler valve and switch. Batteries, combined with motors and Sierra retracts, explain the weight delta.
