My partner and I obtained a Robbe F-15 kit (intended for a .25 size glow engine) and mounted a pulse jet underneath it. It flew a little faster than a Nelson powered Quickie racer but not as fast as my Formula 1 racers. It had fixed gear with big wheels so it had substantial drag. We got 9 1/2 great flights out of it. Some nice video, too.
That particular Dynajet has since been repaired and I managed to get a brand-new-never-been-started Dynajet into my arsenal.
I'll build another plane for the Pulse jets someday.
