Planes Floating: Some designs do float... J3 cub, etc, but others don't so without changing the design characteristics via the menu, just experiment with various planes.

Jittering Display: The airports with lots of trees and other details will do that. Your computer power also comes into play. I suggest using the "FunFly" airport as a compromise or reducing the details.

Learning the pattern: Obtain a copy/ chart of the pattern moves and practice them with discipline. Fly maybe two to three times into the pattern sequence and stop for the day. Go back and fly again .....two to three times each day. It will be frustrating at first, but then as with all things practiced, you will see improvement.

Try this with various planes.....I like the Extra 300, but others might also work. Some aren't good at all for pattern, it just depends on your flying abilities matched with Real Flight's flight modeling for the specific design.
