I haven't fiddled with the dual rates as they seem to work OK for me. I run my real Futaba Conquest 6 channnel without a crystal connected directly to the printer slot with the RF innerface chord. I suppose I could try just adjusting the transmitter's dual rate setting.

Come to think about it some of the models do give a jump now and then.......also I have radio failures envoked, but that is more a nuisance than a real training aid.

Wind chill was a -20 two nights ago, but 50's are predicted for at least one day next week.......go figure. Maybe I should go out and drive my SUV more to get more global warming and get rid of this winter.
